As part of our overall diversity and inclusion efforts, the VBA has created the Women’s Mentorship Pilot Program to assist our member banks with preparing the talented women within your banks for future senior leadership positions.
You don’t master the art of leading and managing through luck; you master it with training, experience, self-learning, and applying best practices. As a supervisor, you must have the attitude, aptitude, skill-set, confidence, persistence, and commitment to excel in this multi-tasking, challenging role. This training will help take your expertise to a new level as you learn how to collaborate and coach your employees to excel on the job.
Through the use of highly qualified instructors and a challenging
curriculum, the VBA School of Bank Management is designed to
provide a multi-dimensional educational experience in banking.
Upon completion of three one-week summer sessions and eight home
study problems, students will have developed a range of skills
that should both enhance current performance and qualify them as
candidates for advancement.
This conference is designed for emerging banking leaders and members of the Virginia Bankers Association Emerging Bank Leaders (EBL) group. This conference will give Emerging Bank Leaders the opportunity to share ideas and network with peers from across the state. You do not have to be an EBL member to attend.
