VA and WV) will replace the 2020 CEO Forum.
Each month, from July-December, registrants will receive a link
to log in to a virtual session with nationally recognized
speakers providing relevant and timely content geared
specifically to bank CEOs and other senior leaders.
This program is designed for personnel who have management-and/or functional level responsibilities for BSA compliance and/or operations. Individuals with retail banking, risk management, compliance, audit, operational, corporate banking, and training responsibilities will benefit from this program.
The Directors’ Symposium, co-sponsored by the Virginia Association of Community Banks, provides bank board members with current data, thought-provoking industry trends and networking opportunities with other directors and regulators. The program is designed to benefit both new directors and seasoned veterans on the Board.
September 8th will be held in Roanoke, VA and September 9th will be held in Richmond, VA.
Compliance School consists of two tracks, Lending and Deposits, and is designed for entry-mid level compliance personnel. In 2020, the Lending track will be three days and the Deposits track will be one day. Both sessions will cover the latest regulation updates.
The Virginia Bankers Association has partnered with the Tennessee
Bankers Association to offer an additional BSA/AML seminar in
Kingsport, TN. This program incorporates a review of all of your
institution’s BSA technical compliance responsibilities. It is
the annual review where everyone needs to remember their critical
duties, and the program covers the required elements of your AML
program from CIP to enhanced due diligence.

14 from noon – 2:00 p.m. at the Greater Richmond Convention
