2025 Charity Event – Third Year Class Supports Service Dogs of Virginia
The third year class charity this year was Service Dogs of Virginia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that places highly trained dogs to perform a multitude of tasks that allow greater personal freedom and independence. While it costs approximately $40,000 over a two-year period to raise, train and place a successful service dog, Service Dogs of Virginia is able to provide service dogs at no cost to those in need because of the generous support of individuals, businesses and foundations. Students from all classes supported their efforts through in-kind donations and by attending the charity event at Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen & Brewery on Tuesday, July 22.
