This year, all 11 of Virginia House of Representative seats are up for election, as well as one of two U.S. Senate Seats.

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 4th - and the last day to register or update your registration information is Friday, July 24th. Confirm your status here!

Three Ways to Vote in Virginia’s Primary Election

Absentee Voting

The last day to request an absentee ballot (also called vote by mail) for the Primary Election is Friday, July 24th. Wish to vote absentee? Request your ballot here!

Early Voting

You can vote early in-person from Friday, June 16th to Saturday, August 1st for the Primary Election. Find your early voting site and schedule here!

Vote In-Person
