With nearly 20 years of experience in community banking, credit unions, and fintech, Stacey understands the balance between meeting operational demands and serving the real needs of members, especially those who are underserved.

She and her team create contract roadmaps that align with each bank’s strategic plan and use proprietary benchmarking tools and peer data to secure the best pricing and performance. These savings allow banks to reinvest in transformational initiatives that scale their people, processes, and technology—while staying true to their mission. Stacey brings curiosity, diverse perspective, and practical expertise to her role. Josh Layne, Cornerstone Advisors

Josh Layne brings nearly 20 years of experience in banking, credit unions, and financial technology to Cornerstone Advisors, with a focus on building practical, results-driven vendor management programs. He has worked directly with financial institutions and led teams of success specialists to design and implement right-sized solutions tailored to each organization’s needs. Josh combines deep industry knowledge with a collaborative, human approach that community banking leaders value in long-term partners.

Josh has played a key role in shaping vendor management software platforms, contributing across the full lifecycle—from concept development and roadmap planning to scoping, testing, release, and client training. He is a strong advocate for clients, regularly sharing insights through public speaking and industry communications to elevate service levels and client experiences.

A founding employee of Maple Street, Josh spent 18 years in roles spanning sales, marketing, contract negotiation, software development, team leadership, and executive management. Earlier in his career, he worked in technology sales and digital marketing. Josh holds a BA in History from Florida State University, a Certificate in Leadership from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business, and multiple banking risk and compliance certifications.

Sandeep Balan brings more than two decades of leadership expertise in banking, fintech, and digital technology delivery to Cornerstone Advisors. As managing director for technology strategy and advisory, he is focused on financial institutions successfully building an efficient future centric organization and achieving their digital, lending, payments, and core strategy.
