Speaker Information

Dontrese Brown is a strategic leader and masterful storyteller who brings a unique blend of business acumen, creative vision, and deep commitment to leadership development to his work with InnerWill. With extensive experience navigating transformational change, he helps leaders and teams drive meaningful impact through empathy, collaboration, and innovation. A dynamic communicator, Dontrese also creates spaces where participants can explore and create their best leadership in a safe and supportive environment. Dontrese is the co-founder of Hidden in Plain Site, a virtual reality experience that brings to life overlooked stories of the Black experience in American history. Heled the historic movement to rename the Boulevard to Arthur Ashe Boulevard for Richmond, VA, and spearheaded the vision to make Cristo Rey Richmond High School a reality for under-served youth in the Richmond community. He has served on several nonprofit boards and is a 2024 RVA Community Maker Honoree. Dontrese holds degrees in graphic design from Georgetown College (B.F.A.),Morehead State University (M.A.), and Savannah College of Art & Design (M.F.A.).
