On January 12, more than 270 bankers attended the 17th Annual Banker Day at Capitol Square in Richmond. Participants began their morning with welcoming remarks from VBA Chairman-Elect Bill Hayter and a session preview from Delegate Terry Kilgore. Following meetings at the General Assembly building and a group photo on the steps of the Capitol, attendees returned for lunch at the Richmond Convention Center. VBA President and CEO Bruce Whitehurst conveyed his perspective on the opportunities and potential pitfalls at the federal level for banking legislation.Click here to see photos from Banker Day and send your photos to Monica McDearmon to see yourself in future VBA publications.
