VBA members—now is the time!

Compliance is an ever changing and evolving part of our industry and bankers must be prepared. The VBA is very pleased to partner with the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) and Florida State University College of Law to offer VBA members an important degree program for our banking professionals. When you enroll in this on-line program to obtain a Juris Master degree in Financial Regulation & Compliance from Florida State University, College of Law, you will enhance your own professional development, the reputation of your financial institution and that of the banking industry.

With unprecedented challenges in the banking compliance industry, this JM program will undoubtedly provide bankers and regulators a unique opportunity to obtain a post-graduate degree from a highly acclaimed institution with a particular focus on bank compliance issues.

The application deadline for the Fall 2020 semester is August 10, 2020.  Fall classes begin on August 24.

The FBA has established a Curriculum Advisory Board made up of Chief Compliance Officers from FBA member banks around the country to provide insight to FSU program directors. This ongoing committee meets regularly to help ensure classes are providing the most up to date information that will meet the challenges facing bank and regulatory compliance officers and staff.
